Anna Kournikova shocked me today with these pictures of her on a tennis court. I didn’t know Anna still played tennis. I figured she was just a model and triathlon athlete. Well, technically none of these photos really show her playing tennis. Most of them are of Anna signing photos/shirts and yelling. So I am only assuming Anna Kournikova still plays tennis. Someone needs to show me more pictures of that.
Here are a few awesome pics of Anna Kournikova killing it at some Hardbat Classic event which claims to be the ‘biggest, baddest throwdown in the history of table tennis.’ As much as I enjoyed Anna Kournikova as the hottest tennis player in the history of the sport of tennis, I thoroughly enjoy her more as the washed up tennis player doing whatever it takes to get media coverage.
Tennis is a sport that I’ve never truly liked, but I will watch it when people like Maria Sharapova is on or there’s nothing else on TV. Maria, however, makes me wanna watch it every time it comes on.
Many of us may have thought her previous threat to undergo breast reduction would fall through. Maybe she would realize how much those breasts meant to her fans. Perhaps she would understand that this can be the move that makes or breaks her promising career.Well the surgery has been booked, and let me be the first to shed a tear during this sad moment in the world of sports.
Reports indicate that the 34DD-sized Romanian tennis star, Simona Halep, has booked herself into a private hospital for surgery in the fall. When asked about the decision, Simona stated the following: “This fall I’ll have a breast reduction operation. The breasts make me uncomfortable when I play. It’s the weight that troubles me – my ability to react quickly.” [TheSun]
While Simona believes that the reduction will give her less weight to carry around, making it easier for her to win some points, what she may also need to realize is that the loss of her large boob size will likely result in the loss of many fans. Anna Kournikova didn’t need to be the best tennis player to make millions of dollars from it.
Looks seem to go a lot further in woman’s tennis these days, but that road may soon close itself for Simona Halep. The seventeen-year-old (keep your pants on guys, she’s almost 18) tennis phenom was born 9.27.1991 in Constanţa, Romania and has turned heads in the tennis world for both her Anna Kournikova-esque talents and for her massive, but soon-to-vanish chest-hams.
Simona Halep tells Pro Sports (poorly translated to English) –
“I do not believe that physical appearance has an effect on performance, so I help with anything in the sport. My mind bust when I go on the field and even if I were sporting, I would have felt very good.
(My Breasts) inconvenience me, it’s very hard with them. It’s a weight in addition to confound me speed response. I can not go on very well. Shoot me down. Nothing in life is not like me even though sport was not all I was doing surgery.
Surgical intervention should take place last year, but probably will use it in autumn, because the postponement might cause problems in the column.”
Not sure what that last line is supposed to mean, but regardless, I say Simona is making a big mistake. Think about it — if Anna Kournikova’s ass got fat she’d be out of work (posing for Maxim).
Simona better hope she matures into a more talented tennis player because no one is going to want to see a Romanian flat-chest on the cover of men’s magazines.
